My testimony

I tried everything…

and still felt

empty

I didn’t begin as a writer. I began as a seeker.

For ten years, I followed new age spiritual practices, entered relationships that promised love, and believed in philosophies that seemed full of light. But they only deepened my wounds.

At twenty-nine, my life was turned upside down by a life-altering event.
The trauma forced me to reexamine everything I had once believed.
Searching for relief I tried everything… and still felt empty.

In time, God gently showed me that He had never been in the practices I had turned to.
Only after reading the Bible for the first time did I discover a power strong enough to truly heal me.

My story – From

searching to

being

found

I was born into a trilingual home with immigrants parents. After their separation at age four, my single mother raised me in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

But as I grew, I was easily seduced by the culture around me—eventually missing the mark on what God had planned for my life.

Yet, when I reached my darkest hour, God found me and has never let me go since.

He will never leave us nor forsake us Deuteronomy 31:6

So, what was His plan for my life?

Growing up, writing poetry was always a sweet escape for me, and as early as nine years old I sensed it was a gift.

What I didn’t realize then was that it was a seed God had planted – one that would take root in my thirties and grow into something much larger than I imagined, a body of work that others could come to and be nourished by.

Today, I write to share and multiply what He has given me, so that others may see and taste that the Lord is good. – Psalm 34:8

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels
nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any
powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all
creation, will be able to separe us from the love of God that is
in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 8:38-39
